What is Bushel & Bloom?
My name is Sarah, and I began my journey in the wedding industry many years ago as a wedding photographer. I recently noticed how expensive wedding flowers are becoming, so I wanted to offer a budget-friendly solution. Bushel and Bloom is a luxury rental floral boutique, specializing in high quality wedding flower collections. Couples can rent my blooms for a fraction of the cost of a traditional florist.
Where are you located?
My home studio is located in Keswick, Ontario, Canada (just north of Toronto), and I deliver to areas in the GTA. Shipping is available on select collections for US and Canadian brides.
Do you have a store front?
To minimize my costs and the price you pay, I do not have a public store front. If you are local and would like to see samples of the flowers, you are welcome to contact me and schedule a viewing appointment at my private studio.
Do you offer pickup?
Yes, I offer local pickup (Keswick, Ontario and Ottawa, Ontario). Brides located in the Greater Toronto Area area typically drive to pick up their order the week before their wedding. Then, they return their flowers in-person a couple of days following their wedding.
Do you offer delivery?
For an additional cost, I can deliver in the GTA or arrange a meet-up location for easier pick-up. Please contact me directly to arrange delivery.
Do you offer shipping?
For pre-made orders, I offer Canada shipping. You'll receive your blooms in the mail about a week in advance of your wedding. Enjoy your flowers for 10 days and ship them back with a pre-paid shipping label after your wedding. Please contact me for a shipping quote.
Our Flowers
What type of flowers are they?
All of my flowers are the highest quality silk and foam flowers available. I spend the big bucks so you don't have to, and make these flowers available to Canadian brides.
Do you offer custom orders?
If you don't see a collection that works for you, ask about a custom order! Please contact me to setup a free consultation (virtual or in-person).
Can I see a flower sample?
Yes, local couples that can drive to my private studio (Keswick, Ontario) are more than welcome to book an appointment to see sample flowers.
Can I purchase my flowers?
If you initially rent your flowers but decide you wish to keep them, ask me about purchase options. Then, you have a memory to treasure forever.
Quotes & Booking
How long is the rental period?
The rental period is for up to 10 days. Receive your flowers the week before the wedding, enjoy them for your wedding day, and return them the week after.
How do I request a quote?
Browse through my pre-made flower collections, and add your favourite flowers to your cart (you can mix and match between collections). Then, submit your quote (you will not be charged) and I'll get in touch shortly!
For custom order quotes, you can contact me via email or text and tell me about your flower vision. Include inspiration photos, colour palette ideas, and where your wedding is located. I'll get back to you with a quote.
When is payment due?
Submitting a quote is completely free. At the time we sign the contract, a 50% retainer is due to reserve your date. The remaining funds are due on the day of your wedding. For shipped orders, payment is due in full before I send the flowers. A damage deposit may also apply.
How far in advance are bookings?
I need at least 30 days notice to prepare an order to ensure I can guarantee stock and have time to assemble your blooms carefully. If you need your flowers in under 30 days, please contact me directly to make special arrangements.
Receiving Flowers
How do I get my flowers?
I have multiple methods for getting your flowers to you. I offer free local pickup option, local delivery, and Canada-wide shipping.
When do my flowers arrive?
The rental period is for 10 days. Flowers are delivered, picked-up, or received in the mail the week before your wedding.
Local Pickup
Pick-up your flowers from one of my studios: Keswick, Ontario or Ottawa, Ontario.
Delivery
If you would like to arrange local delivery within the GTA, or pick a meet-up location, please contact us directly before placing your order. Additional delivery costs may apply to your order.
Shipping
Shipping is available for applicable flower orders across Canada and the US. This price can vary depending on your location and the size of your order. Please contact me directly for a shipping quote. You will be emailed a pre-paid shipping label a few days after your wedding.
Returning Flowers
What if I damage or lose an item?
Weddings are exciting and fast-paced! I totally expect that from time-to-time an item will be lost or damaged. However, a replacement fee will be charged.
If I receive the flowers back and determine that an item is missing or damaged, an Item Replacement Charge does apply.
How do I return my flowers?
If you selected local pick-up, we expect the flowers to be dropped off in Keswick, Ontario thee week after your wedding.
If you selected delivery, we will arrange pick-up for you. Additional delivery fees may apply.
If you selected shipping, you'll be emailed a pre-paid shipping label at the end of your rental period. This shipping label can be printed, attached to the box and dropped off at your local post office.
